Our most frequently asked questions

Regarding bookings, reservations, cancellations, ...

Absolutely! Our reservation system is designed to work like a shopping cart. You can add multiple games at the same (or different) times to one shopping cart and check out everything at once. If you then send an email to finance@exitgamesbelgium.be, we will also provide you with an invoice for this.

Why book online instead of arranging it via email with you?

When you book the games online, they are automatically reserved in your name in our booking system at that moment. This ensures that during busy times you have a 100% guarantee that no other group can take your date. For reservations via email, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If another group had requested this date via email earlier, it may not yet be visible online, but the reservation will go to them. We only count a reservation once it is manually scheduled by us after processing.

It is best to book for the minimum number of people spread across the desired number of rooms, and then you can pay on-site for any extra people. The difference in the total price with the extra person will simply be settled. In other words, you will never pay more on-site than the prices advertised online.

I would like to cancel or change my booking, what is the best way to do this?

Up to 3 working days (72 hours) before the start of your reserved game, a reservation can be exchanged without any problem for a voucher to play at another time, worth 100% of the reserved amount. This applies to both cancellations and adjustments regarding the time. Of course, this is always subject to what is possible for us.

If you cancel less than 72 hours before the start of your reserved game, we will provide a voucher worth 50% of the reserved amount (excluding catering or specific costs incurred for the group that cannot be cancelled). This is because the hosts' hours are already fixed.

To cancel, please send an email toescape@exitgames.be.

On the website, you can book your game(s) online up to 36 hours in advance. Sometimes it may happen that you can still come by on the day itself to play. No problem! Call us at (0489 30 31 49) and we will see with you if there is still a possibility to make this happen.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee 100% for last-minute bookings. A last-minute booking is highly dependent on the current game/host schedule for that day and should therefore be checked at that moment.

Each game lasts a maximum of 60 minutes. We expect each player to arrive 15 minutes before the start of their game, during which we explain the concept and the specific game. You can also debrief for another 15 minutes after the game. For the full game experience, you should allow 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Most teams reach the exit only a few minutes before the hour is up. Did you make it out earlier? Then you might end up on our Wall of Fame.

Did you not make it out in time? No worries, the doors will reopen and you can calmly figure out what went wrong. The experience itself is definitely worth it, and the ‘fun aspect’ remains our priority!

No. If you book a game for your group, your group is the only group that can use the room during that hour. You will never be in the same game as other players. Only in battle games can you interact with another group if they have booked the game at the same time. However, this will never be detrimental to the gaming experience.

  • You will be attending with fewer people:

    • No problem, you can receive a voucher for the value of the missing persons, allowing you to return to play at another time. You do not need to call for this; you can inform the Game Master on-site before the game starts.
    • Please note: we do not offer refunds, and we refer to our general terms and conditions available on the website.

  • You will be attending with more people:

    • No problem, you can pay for these extra people on site. You do not need to call for this; you can inform the game master on site before the game starts.
    • Please note: 1 game can be played by a maximum of 8 people. If you are coming with more than 8 people, you will need to book a second game. You can easily do this through our website. If you encounter any problems, you can send a message via our website, email escape@exitgamesbelgium.be, or contact us by phone.
    • We acceptnevercash, only card payments.

No worries! As long as the amount has been deducted from your account during the online booking, your booking is confirmed with us! If you have not received an email after 2 hours, please feel free to email us at escape@exitgames.be or send a message via WhatsApp (0489303149). Due to our email automation flow, there may sometimes be a delay of 1 hour for the confirmation email.

Our pricing is based on the number of players in one game. The price is therefore always per person and not per room.
- If someone is absent => voucher for the difference of the booking with that # fewer people
- If someone extra is present => pay the difference according to the booking for # more people

Don't panic! If you have a gift voucher with a code that isn't working, we ask you to send an email to escape@exitgames.be with a photo of the voucher attached. We will then check the code in our system and see how we can send you a new code that works on our website as quickly as possible. It may be that due to takeovers of other escape locations or changes in our voucher system, old codes are no longer valid in our current system.

Regarding the practical side of escape rooms ...

In which languages are the game(s)?

All our games are playable in Dutch & English.

You do not need to bring anything or prepare anything. Prior knowledge of the specific themes is not necessary. No physical strength is required for any game. Comfortable casual clothing is recommended. Our games are all situated indoors at room temperature.

All children are welcome in family groups or as a party. However, a minimum age of 14 years is required to actively participate in the games, unless otherwise stated on the game itself. For those under the age of 14, we do ask that at least 2 adults participate. The adults are necessary to maintain the proper order of the game. Our hosts will also provide extra guidance to the children to make the gaming experience as optimal as possible.

Children under 6 years old can enter the game for free, provided they are accompanied by 2 adults.

No, this is strictly prohibited! You will have to find the way out yourself, together with your teammates! The Game Masters are of course always ready to help you, but you cannot consult any 'external sources'. At the start of the games, we will also pay extra attention to ensure that no mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, or other communication devices are brought into the escape rooms. These should be stored in the free lockers provided.

To keep our games attractive and challenging for other, future 'Exit Gamers', it is further prohibited to capture and/or publish any visual material from our games. Our games are protected by copyright. We therefore rely on your fair play and respect for yourself and all other players.

Do you wish to increase the competitive level in your group? Then play the same game with 2 groups against each other at the same time!

If you are a group of up to 8 people, you have the choice to play 1 game with 1 team of up to 8 people, or to split your group into 2 smaller groups that then play the same game against each other. Note: the fewer people your team consists of, the more challenging the game becomes. The minimum number of players per team is 2, although we recommend 3 or 4 people for a more comfortable experience.

If you are more than 8 people, you will need to book at least 2 games. If you do not wish to play competitively, you can comfortably book 2 separate games.

No, the games take place behind closed doors and cannot be viewed or followed from the outside. Only our own Game Master can monitor the different rooms. However, the footage is not kept permanently due to the privacy rights of each participant. Privacy rights are very important to us.

Our venues do not have dedicated parking for our customers. We recommend planning in advance where you will park your car.

For games that allow up to 8 players, we can exceptionally add one extra player. Your total will then be 8 + 1 players. An additional charge will be applied based on 1 extra player.

Please note! This may not be desirable for the experience of the game. We advise against this and recommend choosing battle games. Here, you will play the same games in mirror formation with 2 groups, and you can still discuss the same game afterwards. If you still wish to play with an extra player in one game, please send us an email at escape@exitgames.be.

Certainly, we have a really cool bar at each location where you can enjoy a drink.

Regarding fears, effects, limitations, ...

Experience is not necessary, and each individual brings their own specific characteristics, abilities, and personality, which adds value to our games. That is why teamwork is so important!

If you really can't figure it out together and remain in uncertainty for too long, our Game Masters are always ready to provide a tip upon your request, which will help you get back on the right track. We will, of course, keep track of the number of tips for your final score.

And don't forget: even if you don't manage to reach the finish line within 60 minutes, you can still have a lot of fun... and that's what it's all about, isn't it?

The games from Exit Games are not creepy or frightening. What is included, of course, is the tension and the time pressure.

Our Escape Rooms are all very spacious, with high ceilings, so they are never claustrophobic. Moreover, you are continuously monitored by our on-site Game Master, who can intervene at your request or offer help of their own accord.

Finally, you can leave the game at any time if you feel the need to.

The games from Exit Games normally do not contain overly scary objects (and certainly no living... creatures). Our advice is to ask our Game Master before the game if there are any overly scary creatures or objects present. The Game Master will then take the necessary action to remove certain items from the game or reposition them. We like to take our customers' requests into account.

Finally, you can leave the game at any time if you feel the need to.

Unfortunately, there are games that do not allow wheelchair access. You will find the icon for "not accessible" on our site.

If the games are accessible for people with physical disabilities, you will find the icon for "accessible".

No, you are only guided by our Game Masters. They will monitor you from their computer via the camera and our own software to provide you with an optimal experience.
